What's new in ezLFG

Every update to the bot, newest first. Updates reach every server on their own: there's nothing to install or add again.

1. October 22, 2026Improved

   Setup in one panel, and faster lobbies

   • /lfg-setup is now one settings panel: pick the LFG channel, voice, threads, game pings, language and time zone with clicks instead of typed options.
   • Picking a game opens the lobby builder straight away, with your last mode for that game already chosen.
   • Hosts can change the mode, size, roles needed and ranks welcome after posting, until the game starts.
   • The ready check has a Player IDs button that lists everyone's in-game IDs.
   • /profile and /language open simple menus. Set your in-game IDs and ranks with the real rank emblems.
   • End lobby asks first, and members switch game pings on or off from one list.
2. October 21, 2026Improved

   Safer pings and stronger security

   • Ping roles that grant permissions or channel access are refused, so the opt-in panel can never hand out a staff role.
   • Nobody joins a lobby without pressing Join themselves, and each person gets at most one ping or DM per host every 30 minutes.
   • Buttons on a lobby only link to trusted sites, such as Riot's for League party links.
   • Lobbies can list Urdu as a language their players speak.
3. October 20, 2026New

   The bot is now called ezLFG

   • A new name and a new home at ezlfg.app. Old links lead to the new address.
   • Nothing changes in your server: the commands are still /lfg, /lfg-setup, /profile and /language.
4. October 19, 2026New

   First public version

   • Lobbies for 32 games, with each game's real modes, party sizes, ranks and roles.
   • A live board of open lobbies, a thread for each lobby, a waitlist, and a ready check when the squad is full.
   • Scheduled lobbies, 10-player customs with two teams, and team balancing by rank.
   • Verified Riot IDs, so League of Legends and VALORANT ranks come from Riot.
   • Type it instead: lfg duo val comp gold+ in the LFG channel becomes a lobby.
