Terms of Service

These terms apply when you add the ezLFG Discord bot ("ezLFG", "we") to a server or use it. ezLFG is run by Grim. By using ezLFG you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. The service

ezLFG helps members of Discord servers find teammates: posting and joining lobbies, showing game names and ranks, and related features. It's free, and provided "as is". Features may change, be paused, or be removed at any time.

2. Discord's rules come first

You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using ezLFG, as well as the rules of the server you're in and of the games involved.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use ezLFG to:

• harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone, or post hateful, sexual, or illegal content in lobby notes;
• spam lobbies or pings, or try to overload, break, or get around the bot's limits;
• link a game account you don't own, or pretend to be someone else;
• sell, trade, or boost accounts, or arrange cheating;
• scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or resell the bot, its content, or its design.

We can limit or block access for users or servers that break these terms.

4. Server admins

Admins who add ezLFG are responsible for how it's set up in their server, for example which channels it watches and which roles it pings, and for moderating their community. ezLFG only acts with the permissions the server gives it.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write in lobbies. You let us display it in the server where you posted it, for as long as it's needed to run the lobby. You can remove your saved profile details at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Game data

Ranks and stats come from game publishers' public data or from what you enter. They may be delayed or incomplete, and we can't guarantee they're accurate. Don't rely on them for anything important.

7. Our content

The ezLFG name, logo, design, and software belong to Grim. Game names, logos, rank emblems, and character art belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those games.

8. No warranty, limited liability

ezLFG is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for anything that happens between players who met through ezLFG. Be careful who you play with, and report bad behaviour to the server's moderators or to Discord.

9. Ending use

You can stop using ezLFG at any time. Server admins can remove it from their server. We may stop offering ezLFG, in whole or in part, at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and announce major changes in our support server. If you keep using ezLFG after a change, you accept the new terms.
