ezLFG Discord bot ยท Last updated 20 October 2026
This policy explains what the ezLFG Discord bot ("ezLFG", "we") stores, why, and how you can remove it. ezLFG is run by Grim. Contact: [email protected].
In short: we keep only what's needed to run lobbies and the profile details you choose to save. We don't sell data, show ads, or track you.
What we store
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Discord IDs: your user ID, and the IDs of servers, channels and messages ezLFG posts in | To run lobbies and know who joined | As long as the lobby or setting exists |
| Lobby details: game, mode, size, roles, schedule time, the note you write, who joined, and the names of any guests the host adds | To show and update the lobby | Deleted 7 days after the lobby closes or expires |
| Profile details you choose to save: in-game names or IDs, ranks you enter, your time zone, your recent games and lobby preferences | To show them on lobbies you host or join and to speed up posting | Until you remove them |
| Linked Riot account (optional): Riot ID, Riot account identifier, region, whether you verified it, and public ranked data (ranks, wins and losses, most-played champions and roles) | To show your verified ranks on lobbies and your profile | Until you run /riot unlink |
| Public game stats for IDs you save (e.g. Dota 2, Overwatch, Deadlock, VALORANT): rank, recent record, most-played heroes or agents | To show on your profile and lobbies | Until you remove the ID |
| Server settings chosen by admins (channels, roles, options) | To run ezLFG the way the server wants | Until the server asks us to delete them |
What we read but don't store
- Message text. Only when a server turns on text LFG for a channel, when you mention ezLFG, when you DM it, or when you use "Create LFG from message". The text is read once to suggest a lobby and is never saved or logged. If you post the lobby, only the lobby details above are kept.
- The game you're playing (your Discord "Playing" status). Read only when you start a lobby, to pre-select your game. It's never saved, and we don't track anyone's activity or online status.
Suggestions sent from this website
If you use the suggestion form on our website, we keep what you write, the type you picked (question, feature or game), the contact you choose to leave (optional), the page language and your country (from Cloudflare, not your exact location). We use it only to improve ezLFG and, if you left a contact, to reply. It's deleted after 180 days, or sooner if you ask. To stop spam, a one-way scrambled form of your IP address is held for 10 minutes; the IP itself is never stored.
Who we share data with
- Other members of the server see your lobbies and the profile details shown on them. That's the point of the bot.
- Riot Games, if you link a Riot ID: we send your Riot ID to Riot's official API to look up your account and public ranked data.
- Public game-statistics services, if you save an in-game ID for a supported game: we send that ID to fetch public stats.
- Our hosting provider (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Frankfurt, Germany, in the EU) stores the data on our behalf. This website is served by Cloudflare and uses no cookies or trackers.
We never sell data or share it for advertising. We don't use message content to train AI models.
Security and backups
Data is stored on a private server that only the operator can access, with key-only access. A daily backup is kept for 14 days, so deleted data disappears from backups within 14 days.
Your choices and rights
/profile clearremoves a saved in-game name and rank./riot unlinkremoves your Riot account and its data.- Leave a lobby, or close the ones you host, at any time.
- To see, export, or delete everything we hold about you, email [email protected] from any address and include your Discord user ID. We reply within 30 days.
- Server owners can ask us to delete their server's settings and lobbies the same way.
If you're in the EU, the UK or another region with data-protection laws, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Our legal basis is providing the service you asked for, and our legitimate interest in keeping it running and safe.
Children
ezLFG follows Discord's own age requirements. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under the minimum age for Discord in their country.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and announce major changes on this page and in our Discord support server.
